It will simply put too much strain on your body, and it will begin to shut down. As it is shutting down, it goes into fat storing mode. This means that most anything that you eat from that point forward, if not used immediately, will be converted into fat. This fat will then be stored where ever the body feels is the most fitting.
If by fasting you mean cutting your caloric intake moderately, then the fasting for weight loss diet will work for you. Assuming that you still have two to three small meals a day with adequate fluid intake, you would be losing weight in no time. Because your body will burn around 2000 calories a day normally, this diet will have you burning twice as many calories as you consume. Over the course of a week, this will help you cuts as much as two pounds alone.
You can even add additionally to what you may already be burning through fasting for weight loss. You can take part in other diets such as the fruit juice diet. What is can do is cleanse your system and help clean out some of the excess water that your system is storing for no reason. You can also add exercise to your calorie deficit to explode your weight loss. Just make sure to get the major food groups and vitamins and minerals everyday!
